Critiqa ("we", "us") is operated by Yaroslav Novykov (sole proprietor). This policy explains what data we collect when you use the Critiqa Chrome extension and the critiqa.pro website, and how we handle it.
Email address. If you join our waitlist or create an account, we collect the email you provide. We use it solely to communicate product updates and account information.
Website screenshots and DOM metrics. When you run a design audit, the extension captures a screenshot and basic DOM metrics (layout dimensions, font sizes, color values, etc.) from the page you're viewing. This data is sent to our server for analysis.
Screenshots are sent to the Google Gemini API for AI-powered analysis. The analysis results are returned to you in the extension. We do not store screenshots permanently. They are processed in real time and discarded after the audit completes.
DOM metrics are processed to generate scoring and recommendations. They are not stored after the audit is finished.
The critiqa.pro website uses Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. It records only aggregate page views and referrer information.
We do not use any other cookies or tracking technologies on the website.
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles all payment data (credit card details, billing address, etc.) under their own privacy policy. We do not see or store your full payment details.
